Amazing that the decals survived all these years. I don't think I would change a single thing....

Only thing I'd change is the intake. Summit one needs to go for a period correct one.

Very nice 66. If the wallet allowed I'd own it.
Anyone recognize those lower control arms? The original owner of my 69 Chevelle said he bought fully boxed lower rear control arms for the car
back in '69. Furthermore, the bushings were solid. He said that solved the wheel hop issue.
Any info would be appreciated.
Thanks.

Not the same, but similar.

Am I wrong in thinking that $25k is a bargain for that car?
Paul,
Thanks for the picture, I'm going to forward it to the original owner and see if he recognizes these. I believe he said his
were manufactured in Medina, Oh.
Dave: I think if that car runs well and needs nothing other than some love, yes, $25K is a decent price.
Thanks.

----Could have been made by RC Industries (same people that made the bellhousings)......Bill S
Not to hijack this thread any further, but I heard from the original owner and he said the lower control arms he used were from a company call Precision Fabricators and that they were painted a muted gold. He said they were similar to the ET's that Paul listed a photo of.
Thanks gents.

Great car... when I saw it, my only concern was the quarters, wheel tubs, and trunk. Looks like a lot of rubber was on the back of that car, so what repairs were done to the quarters before repainting the back half of the car? Looks like the decals were replaced on the repainted part of the car, so perhaps other decals were replaced at the same time? Trunk doesn't look like factory spatter paint. Still a great price for a good car.

Had someone look at this car for me, and he told me to pass. Something about being misaligned in the rear (damage)... it was a few years ago, and $10k cheaper.

Car may have 22,000 miles on it but the brake pedal pad has 122,000 miles on it..

22,000 miles sliding off drag racing would be about 122,000 street miles on pedal wear!
VERY SOLID CAR WOW... for what it sold for considering the original interior and solid body... a good buy!
