I am trying to gather some info on the rubber "carpet" used in early 60s Belair Biscayne etc.. I searched the forums but couldnt find anything showing part or ID numbers. If anyone has any links please let me know.
Thank you

Looks like these are for a 62 Biscayne. That would explain this piled beside them http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/pics/usergals/2015/09/full-1437-31874-09_stuff.jpg

I was at the same auction. Stuff was being given away. I bought a chrome pair of 409 valve covers from that pile for $10.00. Pretty cool to clean up and hang on the shop wall.

John,
The original Chevrolet mats would have the full 7 digit part number embossed in them. IF those just have a 4 digit number, they are from an outside manufacturer as replacements.
One of them that you posted appears to be used, judging by the different color on the edges where the sill plates covered the mat and the heel wear in the gas pedal area.

Thanks for the information. I cancelled the ebay ad as I don't want to mislead anyone if they are not GM parts as I had listed. I was told they were New and assumed from they were new from the dealer. On the bright side it looks like my bikes have some new mats to drip oil on.

I did get them from the Rich's sale. You are right Brad, he had a lot of stuff and some was going cheap. There was a LS6 air cleaner spacer that couldn't get 5.00 to start. It was still on the "mercy pile" when I left. I didn't know what it was or I would have grabbed it as well. Lots of NOS trim for cheap.
