Wrong coast for me, but worth a look if its as honest as it looks and rust isn't too severe......

Yea if that was a 55 Chevy I'd be ALL over it.

I sent seller a message, but am guessing it is already sold.

I have not heard back.

57 is on my list of "someday" cars, but at that price, if it is as described, I may not be able to pass it up.

Might be a good scam...

Don't think it is a scam. Received an email from the seller. Turns out OBO in this case means best offer over $5k. He has guys lined up making offers. V8 car that has not run since 1971. Apparently, very complete other than the wheels.

Most likely just not very seasoned seller. Probably would have been much easier for him to list on ebay. He is going to spend a lot of time entertaining offers.

Told him a week ago I'd send him 20K right now along with a phone# & address.

I just talked to the guy for 45 minutes as well, has no clue what he wants for it!!!
He is really looking for a group of guys to gather in his driveway with bags of cash money and everybody fight over it!!
I have never seen a car sale like it, atleast have a number in mind, even if its a stupid one!!
I also told him that next time I want to sell a car I was gunna do the same thing, low ball number and then change the price every five minutes as the conversation goes on!!!
The guy is either beyond clue less or a marketing genius!!!!
