So what reunions are you planning for next year, Bob?
I just reserved a room for next November at the Dobletree with my Hilton Honors points!
How about a SuperDuty Formula class? (That way I can bring the survivor car). There were a ton of cool colors that the Formulas came in. (not just red, white and green like the Trans Ams in '73). At least 30 of the original 43 are known to still exist out there. You could also add the 74 Formulas, too. They made 58. The last SD made was a Yellow 1974 Formula. It is undergoing restoration now.

And we might even be able to coax Enrico and his wife Lenora (the original owners) to be reunited with the car.

Steve: one of the main reasons MCACN is so great is that car guys can step up and organize displays based on the specific cars we can't stop thinking about 24-7!!!!
I vote you would be a killer organizer!!!!
Call Bob!!!!

It will be Bob's final call, but I intend to work with him on a very special Ford display for next year. It will be a grouping of cars that haven't been together for over 45+ years.

We will be announcing several of the Special Displays after the 1st of the year for MCACN VIII, November 19-20, 2016.
One hint that I will let out is that a VERY special display of Shelby vehicles has been confirmed, and it will rival the presentation of 426 Hemi E-body convertibles that we played host to this year...

Somebody(s) need to get off there dufusses and put together a 67-69 Impala Z24 SS427 display and maybe even include the 66 SS427! There are a LOT of great and real cars out there just waiting to be shown and even more people that know little or nothing about them that want to learn.

I think there should be an Olympic display of Gold, Silver & Bronze cars since next year is an Olympic year (summer I believe). Or a Red, White & Blue display since America will be 240yrs old.

If the very first Z28 was built on December 29, 1966, that would make it's 50th birthday/anniversary one month after MCACN 2016. Has there ever been a grouping of 1967 Z28's done anywhere? Just one guys opinion, but that would be a cool display.

it came out afterwards that the 69 was a clone. the 68 w-30 was lined up, but he didn't have a trailer and wasn't going to drive it there.
I REALLY like that SD formula idea

Jon's car would be the perfect center piece. Then surround it with one representing drag racing, a survivor, a concours, a barn find and as many different colors from the factory color palette that are available. I'll shut up now, I know it's easier said than done, but it would be cool. I'll bring the birthday cake.

We have already been discussing 67 Z28 display for 2017..that gives those with cars plenty of time to them ready.

This show always provides displays of the seldom seen...and usually in quantity. Just one of the many reasons I keep coming back every year. Amazing!

Agreed. Cars you typically only see once in a lifetime could be 5 wide at MCACN.

Yes, Charley and I have discussed it for the 2017 show and I have some commitments already.

Guy in East Brady still has his 67 Z28. Don't know if it ever got finished. The guy repairing it AFTER it had been to a "restoration" shop died of a heart attack a couple years ago. Lost where it went from there.

Wow, that's sad. I hope he eventually is able to get it completed.
