I owned a 69 Nova when I was 19/20 years old (I am now 61), I always told myself if I found one that was in fairly good shape at a good price I would buy it. Well I found one on Craigslist. The body and interior are in excellent shape for a car of this age, I am now in the process of rebuilding a 350 for it as the engine in it now does not run and is a 305. Then paint, new tires, etc, etc. Just thought I would share.

I love the 69 Nova! I like the hood pins already.
Any chance of an old pic of your original?

Well done! Have fun with the project. Novas are great cars to Day-2, restore etc.

Update - 350 rebuilt and dropped in, converted automatic to 4speed Muncie, replaced all wheel cylinders and master cylinder. Car is road worthy now. Phase 1 complete.

Phase 2 will be replace carpet, new front end bushings ball joints etc. replace 3.08 gears with 4.10/4.11. Then paint.
