That is a gift for whoever owns the car with that VIN. I guess every possible way to track it down has been exhausted.

I have been wanting to ask about this car on here a friend of mine had about 15 to 20 years ago or so. Sold it in the $13000 to 15000 range. It was a Huggar Orange L89 with Canadian documentation which I had actually put my eyes on. Had been a drag car its whole life. Sold as a roller. If I remember correctly I think it had under 1000 miles but needed. He has long since passed.

I looked at this car twice when it was still in Canada. The last time I saw it, it was sitting beside the L78 that I bought in 1996. It sold for $4,200 US in 1997 and ended up in New Hampshire to the best of my knowledge.
It was an interesting piece and I think that I still have the GM Of Canada paperwork for this car.

I only had enough money for the L78 and it was running and driving with 31,000 miles in the odometer. (It now has 39,000 miles on it after 19 years of ownership)

The L89 was a total basket case with no engine or transmission.
In hindsight, I should have borrowed the money and bought both cars, but I had a wife who was only so tolerant.
She is now an ex-wife and my garage has grown a bit.
