I have a set of NOS outer rear quarter window fuzzies for my car, but I still need the ones for the doors. I don't have a spare $500 for NOS so I'm going A/M. Can you buy just the door outer fuzzies or do you have to buy the 4 pc kit? All the websites are terrible for their descriptions of the fuzzies and they don't have clear pictures. I need the ones like GM p/n 7729998.
I've narrowed it down to either Re-Pops or PUI and I'm leaning towards PUI. It looks like I came up with a p/n 0235-10 from Jegs and p/n C-10710-22A from NPD. They appear to be the same 4 piece set, but it's hard to tell and I'd rather order these once...
Any current thoughts on outer door fuzzies? I know all the older threads have complaints about the lack of rounded chrome and thin fuzzy material.

Thanks Eddie. I guess I'll have to buy the full set of outers (4 pcs).

Are the HBC the only repops that are close to correct? I thought several vendors offer round bead "correct" fuzzies these days. Are they all the same manufacturer? What should one look out for when buying repop fuzzies to insure the best possible fit and appearance to avoid total disappointment? Are all round bead fuzzies created equal is what I am asking?

Thanks Darryl. I did see that. I always try to search as much as I can first. That post was two years ago so I was looking for some updated info. It seems new repros have gotten better. i.e. rounded ends, felt quality & flags for the 1/4 window felts.
It looks like someone is hooking me up with a set of Repops. Hopefully I'll be able to check something else off the list!

The ends of all the repops I've ever seen had square cut ends, while originals were more bullet shaped. I spent hours and hours reworking the ends of a puli set, and, except for the absence of the "locator points" were indistinguishable from originals. I ended up putting together a set of NOS, including the only set of NOS rear inner self I have ever seen. I've still got the PUI set in the box. PM if interested.

Have you seen any recently sold ones or were the ones you've seen older manufactured? Here's the end of my factory one followed by my NOS.

I have not seen any lately to say if they have improved, or not. Maybe someone with recent experience can chime in.
