Love this movie. He talks about being out at Moses Lake after the war having bar arguments about how far he flew his Spitfire ("out behind the Ruhr"). He was based at Larson AFB in the '50s and that's what he means about being at Moses Lake. He lives in the Seattle area nowadays.

Similar PR Mk.XI version of the photo-reconaissance Spitfire in the film, this one in RAF markings with D-Day invasion stripes. Note the deeper 'chin' underneath the propeller that was required to fit a larger 14.5 gallon oil tank required for the long-range, long duration flights the photo-recon Spits flew.
