I took this video of my 69 Chevelle a couple years ago right after I put the chambered exhaust system on it. I was playing with my Ipad tonight and downloaded it.. What else is there to do on a cold, snowy night?? This will give you an excellent idea what chambered exhaust sounds like on a 69 Chevelle. The motor is a stock 396 350HP. The exhaust system is bone stock, manifolds and the exhaust system is a Gardner.. The system went on AWESOME and FIT EXCELLENT!! I have rolled exhaust tips on as well... Turn up the volume and enjoy.. I will probably send this video to Gardner I'm sure they will like it for advertisement.. Rich

The Gardner BB chambered exhaust sounds great. Many think the Gardner SB chambered is too loud for a Z/28.

Sounds great, I wonder what Chambered would sound like on a W-31?

Chances are pretty great!!

Thanks for sharing that. <<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/biggthumpup.gif
I plan on putting chambered on the Cortez Silver post sedan 69 SS, so it's nice to have an idea of what it will sound like.

Do the words "AWE" and "SOME" mean anything to you! <<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/naughty.gif <<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/grin.gif <<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/biggthumpup.gif

One of my favorite sounds in all of the world (next to my dogs panting, of course)

Installed a Gardner chambered system on a survivor Z last year and it sounded as it should . Very pleased with it ... KP

Any real difference between Gardner and Classic? I have a set of 3.5 Classics just not sure if they should be put on my '69 Nova (750+Hp) ZL-1 deal or my '61 Pontiac with a 550Hp 409?????

Has anyone tried a system from this guy?

I didn't know that Alan Colvin was one of th C's behind that exhaust system. I bought one for my Z back in 86. It is still in the car. It still looks like the day I put it in. Sounds great at idle, but sounds like glass packs under WOT. Unfortunately, I cut the head pipes for headers.

I have one of the first C&C sets on my Copo Camaro. Had to do some finessing to get it to fit but overall it was good.

My buddy has it on his Z28 he bought new in 69, it is super loud at idle, and so loud inside you can hardly talk to each other. does sound like glass packs and no real tone to it. <<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/3gears.gif

I love the sound of the chambered exhaust that is on my GMMG Camaro that I got last year .I can't wait to get a set of headers on the car this spring it should sound a lot better.
