Does anyone make a CW ID stamp for the turbo 400? I know I have seen CX stamp, but now, I can't even find that. I am at the point where I sent my trans out to be gone over. He is going to tank the case. I tried tracing the remnants of my original stamp. Failed miserably. Thanks

Not the tag. I am looking for the ink stamp ID for the trans. I am not smart enough to post pics, but it was an ink stamp to ID the transmission during assembly. If you look at Charley's 1125 mile original 70 Z28, you will see a pink ink stamp on the bell housing of the turbo 400. I appreciate the effort guys. BTW, my transmission tag is black, not yellow. If someone wants to post my pics, I can email them to you.

Is this what you need? I reproduced a CY stamp a few years ago but I don't think I ever did the CX or CW. Unfortunately I no longer have the capability to do them now.

That's what I'm talking about Dennis! I tried to trace what was left of my CW stamp. Didn't do a good job. I will figure something out. Seems like someone makes one for the CX transmission, but I can't find it. Rome wasn't burned in a day.

I just looked through most all of the stamps I made. I did find a couple of CW stamps but I'm sure they're NOT what you need. These are only 1/2" tall and have a 4 or a 5 below the letters. Overall size is 5/8 wide by 11/16 tall including the number. <<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/dunno.gif But I did find artwork for a CX. No stamps yet, just the artwork.
I'll check in another location Saturday. If I find something I'll let you know.

Dennis, you did produce the CY and CX stamp as I have both of them. I did not find any CW however. This is your stamp reproduced on the case and it measures 2.25" x 3".

Yeah, I found the CY and a small version of the CW but only the artwork for the CX. I'm thinking I may have sent some to one of the Camaro guys here on the site and never kept any for myself. <<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/crazy.gif

Dennis, I have the large CX. The CW is the one I do not have. I also have all the small numbers 0-9.
No, that is Mark Mitchell's Pilot LS6 chassis.

This is the late Jerry Hodge's LS6 chassis that looks more like your sample Dennis. I have a lot of photos of original stamps and they vary a little as far as cleanliness.

Thanks Tom, thanks Rick. Rick, any chance I could borrow your CX stamp and number 7? I will send them back with the CW I have made up.
