Frey had been battling intestinal issues for months and had surgery in November. The cause of death was a combination of complications from rheumatoid arthritis, acute ulcerative colitis, and pneumonia.

Looks like our Lord needed another good guitarist, song writer and vocalist -- he will be missed.
As far a sound quality albums go, the Eagles Hell Feezes Over is one of the best. Seen Glenn Live with my Mom just a few years ago. Think I'll have to bust out the HFO dvd and remember Glenn. RIP

I boarded a plane Friday from Sacramento to Phoenix and Timothy B Schmidt was seated right across from me and he said he was headed to New York. Now I know why.

So much great talent involved with that group over the years. I've been a fan since they were the back-up band for Linda Ronstadt.
Sad, sad news. "Heartaches Tonight" across the nation. Thank you for all the music and the memories Glenn. <<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/frown.gif

Sad news. RIP Glenn. My girlfriend and I have gone to see The Eagles in concert the last 6 years and just recently saw them in Baltimore at Royal Farms Arena and also saw Glenn solo a couple years ago at Bethlehem, PA. The best concert I have ever been to, they play 3 hours. Most bands today barely play 1 1/2 hours.

When I heard the news of Glenn's passing this Eagles song just started playing in my head. Very sad.... "There's a hole in the world tonight"

We saw them in Austin last year, what a great show. I'm so sorry to hear this news.
