1970 nova BB reverse lock out 4 spd

Anyone have an original reverse lock out rod (long one)for a 70 BB nova? I just picked up a complete reverse lock out assembly and the long rod has two bends in it.I think it should only have one?The part number stamped on the rod is the correct number 5795.I think 69 is the same. Anyone? can post a pic thanks John
