Lonestar in Texas did my 67 4 piston calipers. Did a great job, and sent my originals back

Great success with Karps Brake Service in CA. You can get them sleeved with stainless. Excellent workmanship and they will last a life time. <<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/beers.gif

Does White Post rebuild master cylinders, proportioning valves and distribution blocks too?

Never mind - I called them, shipping everything out tomorrow. They have great turn times, and IMHO the prices are reasonable too! Benjamin will be able to stop his Nova with confidence. <<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/biggthumpup.gif

I'm shipping the m/c, proportioning valve and distribution block to them today. Good prices and a very quick turn time.

Great .
Now how about telling us how much it cost you to have both of them sleeved. I have a 1968 Camaro
left side 4 piston calliper (orig) that is giving me problems, have had it sleeved and then repaired
2 times. The seal keeps leaking.
What do you recommend??

Don't know, I'm planning to do my own calipers - I only sent them my master cyl, prop valve and d-block.

Masters, Boosters, prop valves. Not sure about Dist. blocks, never send them any.

I have a set of 4 piston calipers that I need rebuilt so I called White Post. Cost is $320 per caliper plus $30 for shipping. Turn around time is 2 to 4 days. Life time warranty.

It's not just a set of new seals you're paying for. They bore the cylinder out, sleeve it with brass and remachine it to the original spec. That takes expertise and the correct equipment. And they do it day-in and day-out.

When it comes to something as important as stopping, I am happy to pay for an expert to do the job right.

Reminds me of what someone told me years ago when I was pricing out getting Lasik done to improve my vision.

You want an eye surgeon to do Lasik. Do you want an expert who has done it for 20 years? or do you want to be part of some general practicioner's learning curve who was doing liposuction last week and just put out his fancy discount advertising blitz this week?.
