Looking for an aluminum bbc intake for my 427. Original one is leaking real bad and I'd like to put a Holley on it anyway without having to use a spread bore or adapter. Needs to be oval port and aluminum and in good shape. I have plenty of items if you want to trade intakes or something else, let me know what you have. I have an Edelbrock 2-0 for it and a Holley Street dominator but I'm not a fan of either.
Thanks, Brandon.

You can run a square port manifold...just use square port gaskets. Looking for GM or Edelbrock or?

I have a vintage Edelbrock air gap with the angled carb flange to trade for a small block Victor jr #2975

I know I can. I don't want to run a square port which is why I stated needs to be oval port. It's a pretty rare engine I wanna keep a little originality if you know what I mean. I'd like GM or an aftermarket with a nice size runner. Thanks for the replies guys I appreciate it.

As you probably know there weren't any hi-rise factory aluminum intakes for the oval port BB Chevy. There was a low profile version on the 69 427/390hp Corvette...but this was a QJ format.

An Edelbrock C-396 would be a good period correct choice or a Weiand Stealth would work also.
There may be some choices in the current selection of GM Performance products, of course they won't have the old school look.

*I wouldn't rule out the #163...they work well on the oval port...and they certainly do look correct.

If you have an interest in the Offy unit, let me know..I'll be at the shop tomorrow.

Good luck, wilma

Hi Brandon,
I have an old school, New in the box,
Yorker 2-0.
Oval port, Twisted carb flange,
Nice bottom end torque.
If you are still looking.

The only choice for old school.

The weand stealth and Edelbrock C-396 are around the lines I was looking for. I have a C-427 but it's square port. The intake I'm contemplating right now is the newer Bowtie GM Aluminum intake which they made an oval port version of.

Also, an Edelbrock Performer RPM air gap would work if anyone has one and would like to make a deal.
