APRIL 11TH ASSEMBLY DATE, COMES WITH ORIGINAL FLYWHEEL, 472 INTAKE, ORIGINAL BALANCER, CORRECT NON-DRIPPER VALVE COVERS (NOT the shiny ones shown on it here), 668 LOWER PULLEY. ONE HEAD WAS REPLACED WITH A '68 Z28 291 2.02 HEAD IN THE '70S - THIS WAS A RUNNING ENGINE - $5100 ...I can bring to upstate NY.

It's pretty tough, maybe a '6' next to the VO411DZ stamping...and that's a maybe.

The VIN will be on the bell housing boss above the oil filter. It will be on rough casting and hard to read.

Yes, that is the other possible area, but there's nothing there.

Ok, so this is as cheap as this one is going to get at $5900. And lo and behold upon closer inspection , it does have a VIN 19N635?44

Yes, quite possibly bbb , the car was balled up in a wad in Victoria, B.C. in the 70s I am told

Does look like a 635 VIN. that's right on correct for the dates.

My old survivor Z engine was V0409DZ with a VIN of 9N634XXX.

Just for comparison, my Z motor would of been a V0403DZ with a 9N631xxx vin. Let me know if anyone sees a block in that area for sale.
