Yup we had one in our SEMA booth for Classic Industries for the past 2 years. They are built by the fellow who used to own SLP his name escapes me right now.

while no doubt a neat car that I wouldn't mind owning at the right price, I feel for anyone thinking they are buying a real piece of history here

I watched the vid...I think the guy talked as much about the badges [we don't need no stinkin' badges] than he did anything else...
I have heard the phrase "a pig with lipstick on". I do respect the power and the technology. But am tired of trying to revive the past. Options like COPO, LT1, ZL1, LS6, LS7 have lost there identity. Please come up with something new. Hellcat, that's cool

I agree with this. Personally, I don't think the Yenko stripes and badges were very appealing even on the original cars. Stock Z/28 and SS stripe packages were much nicer designs and "fit" the car better. Not sure why you'd want to duplicate these stripes on something with completely different body lines?

Keep in mind also that this isn't the only "revamp" of a classic dealer tuner. NICKEY is cranking them out and the were also the MOTION 5th gens. I just think they are so beyond what I would want to spend. Even these Trans am 5th gens are way out of reach but I like them nonetheless

In 1966 my brother was a box boy at the local A&P...on that paycheck he was able to buy a new 66 Chevelle SS...not many box boys driving new musclecars today.
It's an old rich mans game now...[me included]
