Does this look like the plates off a 68 Chevelle non console car?
I have this shifter on eBay now and do these plates go with it?

nova derivative not chevelle...chevelle is flat
i dont know when it started but i have pulled them off 70ish to 74 pretty common they survived...ive bought many in the past already off the car..itsand extremely easy piece to use for an A-body or B-body swap it just works well..no hump meeded looks like a factory piece in other cars and the boot s avil from GM still..or was a few years ago..cheap and easy.......
the hard part to get is the painted floor piece..often gone or rusty

no
chevelle is a diecast flat square bezel thick and heavy..that one contours to the floor hump
you have the correct type of muncie shifter in your auction but its chevelle with a console and that floor plate is right for that shifter..since i didnt see a name on the blade of that shifter..the handle is 3 speed i believe
the flat L shaped iron bracket in your auction is the right type of bracket that goes with this plate and is the right brackest for an aftermarket hurst shifter in a camaro, you need to pull it out and sell it seperate..really a needed piece
the shifter for this bezel can be a flat blade muncie or a round handled ITM
(inland tool and manufacturing) theres 2 boots..

Ok Mark...thank you for the info. I don't remember the car having a console but maybe it did...it was a 4-speed though. I still have the pop for the car somewhere.

the little slot is console..the big square is non..pretty easy to tell once you know.
i really like that Nova stuff...very easy to use for a swap...ive done it many times...really works well in a B-body..it just looks right..fits the hump etc..i put it in a 68 biscayne 427 4 speed clone and everyone was convinced it was right..but those in the know..
neat piece..i used to have a set laying around all the time..just in case..prob did the swap a couple dozen times over the years

Dave,
Like Mark said. The pics you posted are for a Nova 4spd. setup.

The wealth of knowledge on this site is amazing! I have pulled the auction and will pull the L plate out and sell separate as well as the Nova plates. I have had this stuff since the eighties.
What to ask for the L bracket?
Thank you all for the info...

ive pulled 75 to 125 really easy on the L bracket..that was a few years ago when things did better...
i cant see it not bringing somewhere between 50-75...depends on whos looking and how bad they want it..but thats where id start if it where mine but im on the cheap side..i try to sell everything i list..not watch it for multiple leisting..
its really a universal way to mount a shifter..it works for lots of custom type installs
