Cool ride, even the original tower hose clamps seem to be intact. I see some rot on the lower rear quarters and fenders which you'd expect on a Jersey car. Perhaps a really good body guy could spot those in, but that would be a tall order with a metallic paint color.
I'm not sure I have ever seen a '69 GTO with full wheel covers. Gives it that time capsule look...I like it!

Man that is a pristine interior. Like the caps too. Love V-green but triple green may be a bit too much.

I can't open the link but the V roof looks green to me. But, I retract my earlier statement. I now like the "triple" green. Call me fickle!!!!! <<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/crazy.gif

----I would agree that triple green is a negative but the add states "black Cordoba top". Not sure weather that is still a bit weak.....Bill S

Ah, I remember the triple-green discussion here many years ago.

Keep those hubcaps on it!!! So many Pontiac's have Rally two's, so its nice to see hubcaps on some of them. Here's my 68 Lemans HO with hubcaps

Exactly what I just said in the other thread. Rally wheels are DONE TO DEATH. F70 Coker pinner whitewalls on the turquoise LeMans would finish it off nicely and turn a lot of heads. The Verdoro Green GTO up top needs F70 redlines.

Those are wheelcovers, not hubcaps. :twocents:
Learned this several years ago and have become evangelical about it.
And if Rally IIs are so done, why not suggest wheelcovers for a GTO? At least Rally IIs will add a bit of performance image to this car that has none.

Rally II's are certainly not done, they are awesome, but it's also cool to see some Pontiac's with wheel covers because back in the day many cars had wheel covers and nobody seems to want them on their cars now-days.

Dare to be different and the real "car guys" will stop and take notice and compliment your choice. If you just want to fit in and not make waves then do it up like everyone else does. (1st Gens come to mind with spoilers, cowl hoods, Z stripes and SS emblems. Oh and Rally wheels.)
