SOLD SOLD SOLD!
There's only about 12 of these left on the planet in running condition. Most people have never seen one.
It's a very rare factory Turbocharged and Methanol injected 1963 Oldsmobile Jetfire with an aluminum V8 and that has a rust free body. Turbocharger, injection system, motor, and 4 speed Hydra-Matic transmission are all rebuilt like new. Numbers matching "born with" drivetrain with full paperwork including Protecto-Plate. 1 repaint about 10 years ago. Car is in fantastic condition.
On ebay now: eBay make offer (http://www.ebay.com/itm/222070208113?_trksid=p2055119.m1438.l2661&ssPageNa me=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT)

I thought you sold this car on ebay once before? Or was that a different car and owner?

That was my 1962 Jetfire Turbo car. Sold it 2 years ago on eBay for $42,100. Not as nice as this one.

Jetfire commercial from 1962, a better time: Jetfire Commercial (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iieDedNEYuI) The guy in the passenger seat looks just like my Dad did back in the 60's.

Typical car show for me, have not met one person that knew these cars were made:

Another show yesterday at Cruisin' Grand in Escondido, CA. I put a information sheet n the windshield because I got exhausted telling people what this car is. Its alot of fun watching people walk by and then see whats under the hood. At first they think I added a Turbo, but they can see that there is no way it is home engineered:

Wanted to post this photo of the original Turbo Rocket Fluid tank cap that is included. Works perfect. It is designed to release excess Turbo boost if the waste gate failed. Very rare cap, only for this application.

The Fluid tank monitor is the other port on top of the tank. It is a brass float with gears to turn a switch on top of the tank and light the "add fluid" lamp under the "Turbo Charger" words on the turbo gauge located on the center console.
There is disinformation out there about how this system works. There is no way to damage the engine if the fluid runs out. When the fluid is empty, the cap opens, the waste gate opens and a secondary throttle valve in the throttle body closes, preventing the engine from making any boost.

Because these cars are so Rare (only 12 in running condition with Turbo intact), the collector car Value Guides have nothing to go on. They are based on old data of incomplete, rusty, and non-turbo cars sold over 10 years ago. These 12 cars never change hands, the last eBay sale was over 2 years ago for $42,100.00. Once in a lifetime chance to own one.

Make me an good offer.

What Greg doesn't mention is that I bought the car and drove it from the San Diego area to Las Vegas. Made one pit and gas stop on the 302 mile trip. The car performed flawlessly!

Thanks, Greg!! Beautiful, rare, car.

Forgot to mention--I averaged 17.8 miles to the gallon, in traffic, up and down the Devore Pass, through Barstow, Baker, Mountain Pass and into Lost Wages----bugs in my teeth only partially hiding one big smile!

I think GM sold the rights/tooling to that 215 engine to British Leyland/Rover in the early 70's. They used the 215 CI V8 in the Triumph TR8s built between 79-81 which were basically TR7 wedges with a V8, very fun cars

I am enjoying this car more each day. Honestly, it gets as much attention at the show and shines as either the Hemi Charger or the Yenko Deuce. Few old car enthusiast have ever seen the "fluid injected" turbo set up!
