Does anyone know if this ink stamp is related to date coding?

Julian or week and year?

Has anyone else found this?

I have seen quite a few. Always assumed it was the day of the year.

Me too, I think its the day of the year also. Rotors sometime have this same stamping in yellow.

I'd just about guarantee it's the day of the year. My car was final assemble August 22. My lever is stamped 232 or August 20. Here's what mine looks like.

Question, how do you get Aug.20 out of 232 and 3rd week of Jan. out of 020? Frank

020 = Jan 20th or the 20th day of the year

232 = August 20th or the 232nd day of the year in a non leap year.
