Great car. I've known this car since the eighties. Used to go every fall to the Ramapo Corvette show in North Jersey.

From the Hone-O-Drive™ web site -- it quickly became a huge success and highly sought after in the hot rod, muscle car and drag race enthusiast culture of the day. Well-known companies and personalities of the day, such as Carroll Shelby, Shelby American, and Motion Performance, marketed and endorsed the Hone-O-Drive™ overdrive transmission system to enthusiasts throughout the world contributing to its success and fame. So "quickest and fastest"? Let's see an et and top speed #s! That year/body style usually isn't my cup o' tea, but wow! What a nice package. Wheels, colors, power plant. Beautiful. GLWS.

Those cars would actually be pretty nice looking if you tucked the bumpers in and trimmed them down a bit.

Brian fade, I was prepping an LSX manifold for a modern 427 LS engine earlier in the day.

It's a ZLX iron head L88 short block, hand prepped by the masters, Bill Mitchel and or Joel Rosen.

Needless to say, this is a prime example of a very real Dealer built Supercar, aka a true Day 2 car.

With the Muscle Car and Corvette Nationals Day 2 Invitational display in the works, I would like to extend an invitation to the next caretaker of this truly significant car to join us in November.

I am sure the members here would love to see it up close and in person at MCACN! <<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/3gears.gif

I had a exhaust video of this Chevelle running when I visited the car in 2013 but cannot seem to locate it now. Unreal sound and one that MUST be heard.

Received a call from the Son of the Original owner yesterday. His name is Douglas Crane.

His Father was a Direct Mail business owner and drove the car daily from Mt Clair to Inglewood Cliffs?
