I did the 4L60E conversion on my 68 El Camino. Very happy with the result.

Still sitting on the fence regarding speedo options.

Plan to take out the instrument cluster some time this week, and would still consider new speedometer if I can adapt one of the 3 3/8 units without hacking up the cluster too badly.

This option looks a lot cleaner, and no cutting or fabrication.

Anyone use either of these?

As always, any help is appreciated.

Auto Meter offers a GPS based speedometer if that's an option.

I have looked at several electronic speedos, but would rather not cut up the instrument cluster.

A good vdo is about $110
