HOW DO THE REPRODUCTION DASH CARRIERS LOOK & FIT FOR 69 CAMARO TRYING TO DESIDE ON SENDING OFF MY ORIGINAL FOR RESTORATION OR GOING IN A DIFFERANT DIERECTION ?

I just installed the D & R repro. Fits & looks excellent. They re-engineered the wiper switch pegs so you will have to source different screws.

I wouldn't even consider having an original restored. No hope for brittle 47 year old plastic. Even new they were not well designed; wiper switch pegs and the bottom cover tabs commonly broken off.

I used a repop one also, got it from HBC, very nice. Can't remember what screws I used for the wiper switch, wasn't a big deal. Not VG pictures, sorry.

The only obvious difference that springs to mind is the font style and spacing at the wiper control switch cutout.

M22 Mike , is that a repop speedometer? If so how close to the original as far as the font ?

Thanks Rob

Yes, a reproduction, tough item to score. Here are two pic's you can compare, there are differences. One is the MPH scale is a little off. Notice the 10 and 130 line in relation to the 1st and last odometer window, I am sure there are others too, maybe the screws.
