Hurst Shifter Application

I bought this Hurst Shifter a while ago, was told it was for a '69 Nova with console - but how can you tell? Is there a specific area to search for a part number or....?

Look for a four digit part number on the chrome stick near the welded area.

nope..

on the first pic..flip it over..at the base, where it welded together... there may be a number..but not always on those style shifters

64-67 a body probably, maybe impala but doubt it.. with a bench..its an aftermarket shifter

that style handle pretty much stopped around 66-67 IIRC..and went to the bayonet style

on some of the early welded on chrome stick Hurst shifters , only way to ID it is by the dimensions of the chrome stick and numbers on the shifter levers
what is the height and set back of the stick?

that looks like an Impala shifter
that early style weld on, large Hurst letters stick was replaced about 1967 on some models but was continued on other models into the mid 1970s

Ok, thanks all - if it looks like a non-Nova shifter than I need to go a different direction.
