1988 IROC Z28 Convertible 5 speed manual
Here is an interesting IROC for those who follow these cars.
The 350ci was top dog, but not available in a 5 speed or technically in a convertible through Chevrolet. However ASC production records show that 4, 350ci rag tops were produced.
The 305 with a 5 speed manual is considered by many to be the convertible to have.
This is a solid two owner car, Good car fax and history, no major accident damage. Solid and dry car.
Kool options:
5 speed manual
G92 performance gear
Stripe delete
Rear disc brakes
Oil cooler
This is a nice driver with a repaint.

Beautiful IROC. ASC records show 4 produced, were these cars converted to 350's by ASC or GM assembled? I am understanding it as ASC converted. I have to agree that they are great cars, I had to pleasure of driving a GTA Trans Am from Washington to Nebraska. It was a great road car. GLWS, I would love to own it.

Sorry for the confusion.
No IROC 350s were produced with a 5 speed manual. Only automatics with the 350ci.
All official convertibles were "converted" by ASC. The cars started as T-Top coupes and were VINed as convertibles by Chevrolet. ASC did not perform "engine" conversions.
Chevrolet did not "technically" approve the 350ci engine for their convertible / but for the 4 which snuck through. However Pontiac did approve the 350ci in a rag top.
