I've got my 14 " SS wheels all blasted and ready for paint. I want to just paint them with correct color spray bomb cans. Anybody know if correct colors are available for back side, front black, and front silver?
Thanks
Just finished rattle canning a set last fall.
I used Krylon Stone Grey #41605 for the backside, and Rust-oleum #7277830 Matte Nickel for the silver areas.
And a special mix a jobber made up in a rattle can for the insert graphite off black color. It's not Black, but a dead on match for the original off black insert color.

Rick -- looks like they came out pretty good ... TAZ
Thanks..Hard to show the unique insert color over a computer screen, but they did turn out very well when seen in person. The sunlight helps make the inserts pop and show their true hue.

#1403 Dull Aluminum works pretty well on the front, Dove Gray on the back and black with a charcoal metallic over mist on the inserts.

Wheels are primed and back sides painted. Paint front sides tomorrow!

I have 3 nice original center caps. Anybody out there have a 4th to sell? I'll buy more, just don't want anyone to break up a set.

Do you want assembly line 1/4 deep or the later OTC 1/8 deep?

the 3 that I have are 1/8 - just need one to match.

clip on. I have the original wheels and dog dishes that the car came with. Thought that I'd try the SS wheels for a change - not for judging.
