I received a call from a contractor friend who was doing some clean up work for a lady. In her basement was this original Hugger Orange 70 RS z28. Been sitting in this spot for 16 years. It sat in another location before moving for another 10 years. The story is that it was raced in Southern California in the early 70s. The original motor was blown as was the 12 bolt rear. Still
Has it's original M22 4 spd. The owner listed in the US Navy was called out for duty so he sent it north to WA to his mothers place to be sold in 1977. The car was then purchased and was sidelined a few years later with a ring problem and hasn't been driven since.
It took a good 2 hours to dig the car out
