Great color combo. What docs besides NICB and NCRS Hx are there? Specific options are called out in the ebay ad.

IMO new owner's going to be waaay upside down on that one! Known to be a real car, but lack of docs still hurts it.

An original block L72/M22 car still means something!
Best wishes and congrats to the new owner.

I think this is a former Doug Perry car? I spoke to him when he was marketing it here a number of years back. Seems like a cool project

Trans and axle are restamps IMO, so who knows if it's a M22.
I believe the block was decked.
There's a touch of rust in the body - the door braces are required.

The car was advertised for sale on this site and was pulled due to a questionable description several years ago.

Sometimes people are afraid of reprisals from others or offering info that may create liability for themselves. That is why I asked for info.....several people sent me private messages with valuable formation, which influenced my decision not to continue m pursuit of the car, for that I am grateful. This is a wonderful site and there are great people willing to help, sometimes that help is publicly posted, other times it must be sought and received privately.

Cheers everyone <<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/smile.gif

Most of us don't follow every thread. If someone had a question about the car it would be better to post it in the copo section or general section. It would get more visibility. Also if someone is interested in purchasing a car it's their responsibility to do their due diligence. Ask questions, get pictures and share them on sites such as this and/or hire someone.

Guys ...I have a signed document from the buyer dated 10/11/13 with FULL disclosure ...when he came to inspect /purchase the car and parts. I was out of town this past weekend. As he decides to represent / sell the car on Ebay ...I had nothing to do with his description. I registered the car also with the site registry giving FULL disclosure....and also have copies of that document. I ALWAYS keep a copy/ description of any car that I am involved with...just because of situations like this.

Doug is correct - he described the car in not-so-flattering terms when he owned and registered it. He didn't hide anything. The "comments" section of the registry is not published, but it is available to anyone who inquires (unless the owner asks for confidentiality - which Doug did not). I did PM important information to those who asked prior to the auction's end. I even posted that IMO the new owner was going to be waaay upside down on this car that had no docs, no inspection reports, and no certs.
