4-speed rally green '69 Nova SS with original paint. Pretty amazing this one has survived all these years in basically unmodified condition. CA black plates too.
Price doesn't seem too far out of line either.

Neat car but those plates are probably not original to the car. S series plates were issued a year or two before this car was built.

What if the owner transferred tags from whatever car they might have traded to this Nova? Is the car supposed to have a vinyl roof or is that a factory look?

In California the plates stayed with the car when there was a change of ownership. Plates were not transferred from one car to another like they do here in Tennessee.

Good call, my old '69 RS/SS had Zxx plates.

The 71' I am doing a "restofacation" on was originally green. But the trim tag indicates -- -- (no numbers) where the paint code is normally located. TAZ <<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/dunno.gif

Guess I need to clear this up a bit. I was making reference to the trim tag that is on my 71' Nova. That trim tag indicates -- -- (no numbers) where the paint code is normally located and again has anyone ever noticed this? Is it common? TAZ

That indicates special paint instructions, such as special color no pinstripe.

I believe that to be true as well but maybe there were some loopholes that could allow you to keep an older plate. Here is a brand new '67 Impala with an ADF 951 plate.

Rear plate should have registration stickers.

I think the plates depended on where in Ca. the car was sold, too...UEY series plates were issued to my brother's 1967 RS/SS 396 sold new at Cone Chevrolet in Fullerton Ca. <<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/beers.gif

Maybe put on for show. Notice it has no tags that I can see. Nice car none the less.

Very interesting....I don't think I have ever seen or heard of a 69 Nova with a Parchment vinyl roof before. It's especially unusual since there was no Parchment interior available on the 69 Nova.

Really like the Nova... appears to be a nice unmolested car

I think the no numbers where the paint code goes means it was a special order paint that was not a regular paint option for that specific car. I have a friend with a 70 Chevelle that was painted citrus green from the factory that has that type of code on the trim tag..

1970 Citrus Green...... By memory code 43? Was this not a regular colour? Maybe just in Canada?
