I purchased this about 12 years ago as a backup in case needed on my 69 Chevelle. I cleaned it up and painted it at that time. It was my understanding it was an original GM piece. I am not knowledgeable enough to distinguish between original and repro on this item.

Looking for confirmation as to it being an original piece? Also, what are these things going for these days and what applications would it be for?

Once I know it is an original GM piece I will put it in the "for sale" section on here. Just want to make sure I am not misleading anybody.

Thanks in advance for any input.

Don, based on the horizontal machine makes on the top and bottom surface and the stamping impression on the face side (where the adjuster nut goes) this looks to me to be an original piece. There are several other clues as well but these are the most obvious. I typically see these sell on average for about $75. Hope this helps.
