International Auto Parade is also circled in title. Bought this at a Church sale many years ago and never really looked inside. Here's a couple:
AC Cars Ltd Thomas Ditton (England)
289 Sports
289 c.i. 280 BHP at 5750 rpms weighing in DRY at 2282 lb.

AC Cars Ltd Thomas Ditton (England)
428 Convertible
428 c.i. 400 BHP at 6200 rpms DRY at 3143 lb.

I guess FORD bought the AC line from Thomas Ditton and then re-named it as the AC Cobra..
Anybody ever seen the 428 cube Convertible as a North American AC Cobra??

This book is loaded with interesting facts n' figures of European as well as N.A. 1967 offerings.

I believe we have all seen the 289 Sports AC unit with the distinctive gaping mouth grill. The AC 428 convertible
unit's grill is wider. The 428 convertible has a length of 174 in vs. the 289 Sports' 156".
428 convertible has the automatic tranny option vs the standard trans. only of the 289..
The 2 cars do not in any way look alike, yet they are both A.C. Cars Ltd.
The 289 A.C. Sports car is the one that we see either stock or in after market fiberglass. Would that make the
428 convertible the more costly and valuable??
