Noticed this one in Charlotte NC,
Kansas City Assembled Real L78 M21 4.10 car - originally Cortez silver with Red interior - currently painted red. Priced at 59k.
I have no connection however I know 70 L78's are scarce and the Silver Red Gut color combo has to be EXTREMELY rare.

Seems cheap if it has the original, excuse me, 'born with', driveline...even with the color change. <<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/hmmm.gif

Beautiful, and proof that if more cars stayed with their original color, there'd be fewer red 1970 Chevelles out there.
And as well as the color,it didn't come with a working cowl Ind. hood from the factory, but it was ordered w/Band aid stripes.

To Bad,
If it was still Cortez Silver, I would hop on a plane tomorrow to go see that car and maybe buy it but not with that color change.
In this case the Re-Sell red won't work for me. <<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/biggthumpup.gif

Why would someone paint this car resale red? Silver with the red gut had to look amazing

Gorgeous and probably pretty rare on a L78.
Tim D. once owned that car.
Not sure if he has consigned it with them,or they own it & are selling it.

I would agree, window sticker looks suspect, but the build sheet looks good IMHO

I like this car but would really respect all of your continued opinions/ evaluations on it. I like the price or a bit under if it's legit
Thx
The window sticker is a reproduction,as stated in the ad under VEHICLE SPECS.
The buildsheet is real & authentic.
