I have 8.00x14 silvertown new, they seem to have a lot of wheel weight inside and out to balance. Curious if anyone else has the same, or tricks to eliminate the some of the weight.

Dismantle and reposition the tire on the wheel.

A Hunter Road force balancer will specifically tell you how to index a wheel and tire, if you happen to have access to one.

Have you tried these? I've used them on many applications with great results.

Well, sent tires to be rebalanced.... two of the four are better. The shop said other two just were not a good cast and needed the weight to get close to balance. They indexed the tires 3 times to try and get best fit. Will test drive later this week

The Hunter Road-force Balancer you only have to index the tires and rims once{the Road-force balancer is the only tire balancer that can tell a bad tire]. When the tires go down the road they deformed[like a wrinkle-wall slicks do] and the Road-Force Balancer will balance them in the deformed state.

How much is alot of weight? How were the wheels prior to the tires?

The passenger rear tire I have included a pic... 6+ oz on the inside and 2.5 oz on the outside. The rims are true and have had radial tires in the past. I went for a drive tonight and over 60 mph vibe was bad in the ass of your pants as expected. I am looking for help to solve the issue... maybe luck of draw one or two bad tires???

Talked with Rusty (smallhurst) today might be able to work something... My tires are Goodyear 8.00x14 not the Silvertown, brain fart on my part.
