Source for this? We can put a man on the moon, but supply a water temp sending unit? It's nutz!!!

I've seen them on ebay. Not cheap but.....................what ya going to do? Don't see any right now though.

There has to be a better solution.
Also need 1 bracket on back of cup (black piece)

There is a fellow selling them on eBay for $139.00. Trades as "Corvette Instrument Co." I think. That isn't his eBay "handle", but the name of his company. Seems pricey, and I feel your pain as I bought two of them. I haven't installed everything yet, but I gotta think they'll work as the guy has a business rebuilding Corvette gauges and had great feedback. I have one saved in my watch list if you can't find the listing.

Unfortunately, the old Sun gauges only work with Sun sending units (unless something has changed.?) I put vintage Sun's in my car 7-8 years ago and the sender was pricey then.

What is the Sun part number for the sender you need?

Research tells me there are 3 possible senders, wts125 (1/8npt), wts375 (3/8), wts500 (1/2).

It will all come down to where you want to put the sender and do you have the adapters for other places to put it. I have mine in the head on the passenger side and works well. Mine is WTS 500 with no adapter.

These are what you need for the Sun Water temp gauge...
