I have a NOS 67 68 69 Chevrolet accessory V8 tachometer for sale. The part number is 987099 and it is in the original box with instructions and attaching hardware. I just purchased this from the original owner who purchased it for his new 68 Chevelle and never installed it. The instructions say Chevrolet, Chevelle, and Camaro but I am sure that it will fit the Chevy II also. The price is $625.00 plus shipping OBO. Please PM if you have any questions.

Wow very nice find. I had to buy two used ones for parts just to put a decent one together. Great to see the colors.
Is it missing the plastic face on the front, or is it so clear that I couldn't see it in the picture?
Thanks - Andy

Super nice and super rare in this condition. It is only correct for 67-8 though. The 69 one had a pebble grained case with "GM" where the bowtie is casted on this unit. Still an amazing find in this condition especially with all the hardware still in tact and that MINT box. Good luck with the sale!

Hi aawtech - I think the debate is still open on whether the bowtie or GM stamp is correct for 69. The part number did change in 69 to 993716, previously listed in 67 as part 987099. I have used examples of both, and they are physically the same except for the smooth texture and chevy embossed VS pebble grain and GM embossed. Attached is the 69 camaro custom accessories book and also a dealer tach sales picture, both showing the chevy logo. Also another member of this site mentioned in an earlier post finding two NOS 993716 boxed with the chevy logo.
So I'm not saying the part number 987099 is accurate for 69, but I suspect some 69 chevy's got the chevy logo until
1. mfg switched to the GM embossing and pebble grain finish, but continued packing 993716 with the prior version chevy cover
2. dealers sold out of existing stock and received the GM version. Dealer custom accessories were stocked.
Anyway - above is my reasoning for using the chevy embossed on my 69 camaro (Nov 68 build). I could be wrong of course (and still have the GM embossed cover just in case)!
