I have a friend with a BB Nova looking for a couple of items..

1...plastic strap for the heater hose/battery cable [looks like a big garbage tie]..there is one in this photo of a 69 car.

2...correct master cylinder...car is 4th of February 1970

Those common plastic wire harness straps are available @ nearly all the parts houses.Here's one example,but if you do a search you can like 10 for $10 on eBay.

On the plastic straps check the length you need there's two different one is 5 inches and the other 7 inches. The Repros are nice but are not made from the same compound as originals and are stiffer. They get flagged all the time at NCRS and Bloomington

Just looked at the auction that Rick posted. Those are all one length. Still made from a different compound.

They look good but not correct. Honestly, you have to get good used ones to be flexible and correct with the right compound.
Grab a couple off your survivor cars Tommy. Come on, be a sport. he is your buddy!

I believe the 7" one is what he is looking for...he has a shorter one now, that keeps coming off.

GM didn't want the screw point to short out the wires I am assuming.

The cap was a hard item to install I bet. Prolly many do not have one.
