Oops, my loosened alternator dropped and broke off a wire. I'd like to repair this using the existing wire and plastic connector, so I want to proceed carefully without brute force. What's the trick to removing the copper end piece out of the plastic connector? Many Thanks

Look on the left side of each connector in the picture above -- there is a small tab that needs to be depressed and the connector will come out the bottom ... TAZ

Success! Pushed in a screwdriver and got the tab released. The tab was not easy to see especially through some grime, so thanks to TAZ for confirming there actually was a tab there, that gave me the confidence to go for it! <<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/smile.gif
