I never liked the '74 Z as a kid, but I'm warming up to the design in my middle age. Last year of the Muncie.... These were everywhere when I was in high school.

I had a 75 when I first went to college back in '96.. Traded a shortblock and $300.. Loved that car.. Wish I would have kept it..

I've changed a lot of my thinking over the years, but those fugly bumpers still don't do it for me. It's a shame because the rest of the Z is pretty sharp.

The middle 2nd gens have a special place in my heart as my first car was a '76 Rally Sport, so obviously there is an emotional attachment to them. They're starting to rise in price these days. Nice Z, always loved those '74-only Z28 decal package.

Pretty sure trim tags were screwed on in 74 and beyond.

I will check one of the disco bumper cars in our bone yard and see how TT is affixed

Well I'm just gonna put it out there my father wasn't the most honest guy and did anything when I was a kid for money. As soon as I seen this pic it brought back a memory. My father had a z28 just like this same color inside and out dropped at his house years and years ago to receive a new identity. Of course I was very young at the time ( around 30 years ago). Highly unlikely the same car but you never know.
