Chris.........that might be tight. You may have to do a trial fit if you have a shifter. If not, maybe someone has one you can borrow. It's very bulky compared to a super shifter.
If want, I can post pictures of my Ram Rod in my car when it was gutted, although it's a Chevelle.

My Cutlass had a Super Shifter in it and the hump was cut away at the rear and on the drivers side.
The RamRod by all accounts is bigger and requires more clearance. (I have yet to trial the RamRod)
I will post pictures of both soon. (My PC is not connecting to my I-phone)

If you attempt this is a Nova with a Bench Seat.....you will also need to alter the Bench Seat.....if you have a Bucket Seat Nova.....I hope you are taller than 5'7" <<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/biggthumpup.gif

I had a Ramrod shifter in my 1969 Z11 Camaro back in high school in the late 1970's. You would cringe at the amount of hacksaw butchery that I had to conduct to gain clearance on the drivers side of the transmission hump. Sawed it all the way down to the floor level and peeled it back, then hammered it flat to the floor. <<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/eek.gif

Why bother with the ram rod and cutting things up. Super Shifter should work good I think. Is there really much difference in the two?
I made the mistake of sitting in Kurts chevellle at super car reunion and rowing thru the gears with the ramrod shifter. Thanks Kurt.

First you have to tell us which Model Ram Rod you have.....the early design uses bushings in between the plate.....the later design does not.

I heard Kurts wife Karen wanted that. She shows KB how to run thru those gears like Ronnie Sox did on occasion.
K+K Racing will have that car into the 11's soon. Corked up too.
