It looks like that tire was recently placed there,and not decades ago as I've seen newer Az. tires dry out much faster then that one is.

..it is a dry heat.

Hello, never even looked at that tire. You can still see the twigs on it from the tree's. I'll look tomorrow. Can't get the AD spare out of the crushed trunk. Larry

The old tires hold up in the desert pretty well.. new ones on the other hand almost decompose on your car..

If you can't further damage the car, could you cut through both sidewalls and remove most of the tire so the AD rim fits out the opening?:hmm:
