Had a nice turnout yesterday at Newport, especially Super-Pro, where they had a larger then normal purse. I had not really raced the Deuce since the SCR, instead playing with the Vette, but thought this might be good time let her stretch her legs. Well, at the end of the day won SP, not losing a round. The Deuce could not have performed better, as you can see, a .007 light in the finals. The ET was off from my dial, but that was due to pedaling at the big end, as I knew I had gotten a hole shot on the other car.
