I have a car that has been nominated for a national award and they want some underside photos. If you have a 4 post lift with drive-on ramps with an unobstructed view of the underside, I'd like to rent some lift time from you to do some minor cleaning and photographing. The closer to central NJ the better. I can drive to your location. Please PM with a phone number and the best time to call you.
Thanks

Verne,
I'm in New York not to far from Mahwah if interested!
About a half an hour north!
Not to sure if that's to far?
No charge of course!!

Mike,
Hoping for something closer. That's quite a ride. I appreciate the offer.

I do need to come up anyway because of that '63 we've discussed.

Verne, If you ever need a lift again, I have one the Camaro parks on. I'm just 15 min east of you :)

That would be great Kevin. Thanks a lot. Right now, I have a tentative date with a buddy who's 45min south.

Goodness gracious Verne. You, indeed, have a nice underside! <<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/grin.gif
P.S. it is tuff to photo the undercarriage. Most use flash which rarely helps. You have illuminated this nicely for great contrast and detail!

Sam,
I shot photos two ways. One was with flash and the other was with a high intensity halogen lamp of Kevins on the floor without flash. I suppose I could have tried both together to fill in more light.
Verne
OOps, correction. When I used the flash, Kevins lamp was also on. Those are the best pictures.

I hope the selection committee sees it that way too when they pick their choice from the pool of nominees. The car was lucky. The lady owner probably never drove it in bad weather and it's always been garaged. Also, most of its life was in Kentucky (no salt).
I noticed the "3" crayoned on the center of the frame for the first time yesterday after some cleaning. There are also crayoned numbers on both sides of the frame rails but I couldn't get a good photo because the exhaust pipes were in the way.
