I have a few parts I can buy in Lubbock Texas. Anybody coming to MCACN from this area willing to bring a few parts along?
A bell housing, clutch fork, and front cover, total weight 47 pounds.
I had the selling price shipping and I looked at Fastenal but no joy yet....

Perhaps, ask the seller if he would box up all the parts and ship you all the parts using Greyhound....relatively inexpensive, then you would just need to pick up the parts at the Chicago Greyhound terminal.

As you well know Traffic Sucks in Chicago.....so plan ahead to pick up your parts.

I am planning to drive OKC to Chicago. If you can get them from Lubbock to OKC, I will gladly deliver to you.

Great stuff.
Sorry, I will delete some PM's.
Would you mind opening the boxes? I want to know all my goodies are included.
Ryan
Box is still at the office. Wouldn't fit in Sherri's little roadster.
Will open it tomorrow.

Perfect, should be a Lakewood 15100 bellhousing, front cover, Lakewood clutch fork, and the clutch fork stud should be the adjustable style, all as new.
Like Christmas :-)
Looking forward to meeting at MCACN.

BTW, looks like another W machine in Ontario.
Nice colors too, Silver with Black vinyl top.
My understanding is W34 option is pretty rare. I really like this car.
1969 W34 Toronado (http://www.ebay.com/itm/222279824403?_trksid=p2060353.m1438.l2649&ssPageNa me=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT)

I have to visit St Thomas to pick up tires soon, if you want me to look at it this could work.....
Ryan
If I didn't have so much already going on, I would at least give it a look. I really like under appreciated cars, and what a lot of guys would consider "weird" cars.
I like the W cars, and the Toro, despite its size, has always been one of my favorites. Even if I could make a deal on it, and have someone deliver to MCACN, I just don't have room or time for it.
Hope someone rescues it. Great piece of Oldsmobile history, and sure to be the only one at any given car show. Someone might get a deal, especially if all the 400hp parts, like the carb and distributor are there.
Looks like you are good to go.

Thanks Lynn for bringing my parts to MCACN.
It was very nice to meet you and have dinner together. You have some very interesting projects on the go and hope we can keep in touch.
Ryan
You are most welcome Ryan. Good to meet you and your son.
