I'm sure the 'sway bar gurus' will chime in...but, the F41 rear sway bar did not become available for the Nova until mid-year 1970. Not sure how they would have attached the top mounts since they were welded as a unit into the bottom of the car. Maybe there was a factory retro-fit part or something added from an gen 1 F-body <<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/hmmm.gif
The parts look to be in good shape.

Here is a picture of the bracket that is welded into the floor pan for the upper sway bar link. These are pretty tough to find and equally difficult to remove.

That is not a 70 bar set up. Originals had upright bar mounting flanges pointing down, not sideways. Believe that may be for a 71, 72 Nova or a Camaro. GLWS

I have one off 73 Nova like this verry HTF items so few Nova's got them, 74 GTOs got them too
Do you think that would bolt right in on a '71 Pontiac Ventura II?
I've got a friend who is restoring one and always looking for parts.

The bolt on mounts are used on 70 up Camaros/Firebirds and bolt to the underside of the subframe.
On 68-74 style Nova's and 67-69 Camaros the uprights bolt to the brackets which I provide a picture of (earlier post). The brackets are welded to the underside of the floor inside of the frame rails. The Gen 1 Camaros and 68-74 Novas use a narrower bar than the later (70 up) Camaros and (75 up) Novas.
I have a factory style rear bar on my 68 Acadian... I can measure the length on the weekend. Way too cluttered up there to get a picture of the bracket without lifting the car.
Best place to find these style bars (and brackets) are the X body 73-74 GTO's.

The upper mounts in the pictures were only used on the Camaro. Since they have the part number label on them this was probably added after the fact and done the cheapest way possible. To add the rear sway bar on a 70-79 Nova you need the weld on upper support and the weld on upper mount to install like the factory did.
