Interesting,the Arrowsmith car had some extensive modifications and was 35k. Would someone convert all that and go through the trouble and cost to make a fake? If so I may be a bit naive as to the extent people will go through to make a buck

Again they're different cars, just similar enough to notice and do a double take.
Of note, the subject car was listed as a 396/375 car back in '03 @ this RM/Sotheby Toronto auction...

When I bought my L78 Nova from Stefano I remember a car like this that had sold before mine. My car did not have any original paperwork.

That blue 1970 L78 Nova I bought from Stefano was a great car. Just your normal Nickey transaction it was a bunch better when I got it than what he described to me over the phone. My Daughter is still mad at me for selling that car.
