Best way a car guy can spend his birthday? Cruising the back roads near home while pulling on a stick. Oh yeah...real cars always have three pedals!

Thanks...and yes, I am addicted to the whine of an M-22 as well.

It was a fun afternoon cruise and laughed when I came up on the late model Camaro who wouldn't move along. Raced an 08 Roush Mustang later in the day and got him by a couple fenders through third gear.

Must be nice to drive on those open roads. Here in the Chicago area you have traffic lights every 1/2 mile, not fun driving stick. Very nice car you have...

Very nice! I kept waiting for the power shift though. <<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/wink.gif

Kinda hard power shifting while holding the camera, trying to steer with a knee or a pinkie finger and keeping control. Kinda like driving a stick with a coffee in one hand. Maybe next time I'll take my kids gopro and then I can bang through the gears, but by then it'll have a few power adders being done over the winter.

Yes Mark, we are spoiled up here with lots of open roads just 5 minutes from home that run clear to the Rocky Mountains. Very little traffic for the most part and some great twisty's to choose from. I drove through Chicago last year and flat out hated it. Didn't like all those tole roads either.

I was just messing with ya with my "power shifting" comment. Nice car!

A buddy of mine built the M22 that's in this car. I was telling him how great it shifts and he said his wife was going to give me shit for driving and shifting while holding a camera up to film it. He said he knows just how awkward that is since he tried it with his Zapper last year and fumbled his phone while trying to manage it. <<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/naughty.gif

Thanks.

It should sound better in a few weeks with a new solid roller motor that is being built for it right now. I should start pulling the old one out soon and then it's getting a a little more power and some suspension tweaks. Hoping to hit around the 500hp mark and have it hook better when it's all done and said. Block was honed yesterday.
