I know alot of u guys like old street racers well here is one that was ordered to street race period,no frills just a basic rocket ship with fact ordered 456 gears a rear antenna and pwr brakes. The car has its orig BW coded 456 rear and i have the orig m21 trans case that has been repaired(ear welded on) car has a 67 dated trans in it now .The MQ engine in the car is a fact coded 68 camaro 396/375 thats a week older than the cars build date and runs great sounds great, the interior is all orig and really nice shape being 48 yrs old all gauges, lights etc work fine, the has pretty lo miles( 60k) and evident buy looking at a few things that are still with the car like its orig t-3 headlamps ,weatherstrips, radiator,5 blade clutch fan, glass, chrome, etc. The car has all orig sheetmetal with the only rust being bottom of pass fender and a small blister spot on lower driver fender ,doors shut like butter and all panels line up good.I bought the car cause its a killer day 2 and semi survivor real L78 with paperwork, talk about rare it has the orig window sticker,p.o.p,bill of sale, complete title history and ownership and to top it off it was ordered the rare cordovan maroon which only 3% of camaros were,I spoke with the orig owner who is alive and well and this car was the car to beat back in the day,he was running a l88 cam and 3 barrel holly with 456 gears and slicks on the street. He had it painted in the late 70,s so the paint is old and hads dings, scratches etc u know patina lol but looks decent and straight. The car runs and drives up and down the road but will need exhaust and a few small things to make it a reliable driver again already has a few upgrades like disc brakes and pwr steering.Car will come with alot of the orig parts like 850 dz carb, bellhousing, orig valvecovers, throttle rod, spindles, manual box, etc.asking 35k. may trade?570-854-0896

Holy smokin tires Batman.
I am thinking some tuning, traction aids and good drag radials has you in the 11's.
I am guessing that is black carpet that faded???? I had some like that once.

There is a twin to that car in Charlotte, but Corvette Bronze. I looked to buy it about 8 years ago but did not work out. I drove it and with those 4.56 gears it was a handful. Great car GLWS

'

Always nice to have build paperwork for any year L78 but more so for 68's also being a factory 4:56 car even better as the following year 1969 cars required Copo 9511 for ratios beyond 4:11.
Nice find w/ the MQ block so close to the missing original too, what Vin sequence is on it?
Awesome deal and congrats to the lucky dog that can make it theirs!

I am so confused why this car is not already sold. It looks and sounds awesome. The documentation is great.
It has to be just a matter of time....
