Well my 69 Z28 turned 48 today, made it another year, she is still in excellent cond., she really took care of herself over the years on a diet of high octane gas.

Wow...is that Burgandy with Garnet Red stripes?

Can't say I have ever seen that...but I'm digging the looks of it.

Very cool combo Mike. I bought an X33 Z/28 out of Pennsylvania back in 1991 that was painted Burgandy with Gold stripes by an earlier owner. It was an original Cortez Silver car that was bracket raced throughout PA in the 70's and 80's. Never cut up but had a Dana 60 sure-grip rear with a NOM and was converted to a TH400 auto for the strip. I did a partial resto in the mid 90's and repainted it as it was heavily faded & lacquer checked. It was a solid 12 second street car and took lots of numbers when I street raced it.

A low percentage of 69 Camaro's had Burgandy paint.

My new engine rebuild has about 1 1/2 hours running time on it, and the 140 cam is working out great.

Looks like we need to have a burgundy party. There's another in Indiana I know of. I think CRG said 2.5% estimated. Mine also has the 140 cam from 1970. It had the springs and aluminum retainers when I took it apart. Lucky the retainers didn't cause problem after 40 years

Yes you are lucky , I agree, we do need a Burgandy party somewhere next summer or whenever, I am in. we need to enter MCACN next year and all park together if possible.
