Is this one truly unrestored? I'm referring to the deck stamp. The seller uses interesting language to describe it: "According to the Front Pad Stamp ,This is a Matching #s 302! (Look @ the Pics ,it Does Not Look like a Restamp to me)"

----Those registration slips are from Marthas Vineyard. In case you live under a rock thats an island of the coast of Massachusetts. Theres no way that car has that many of those slips and doesnt have rust we dont see. OK,,, Maybe the car wasnt based on the island but kept away from the coast, but if not, that island is surrounded by salt water. I have never seen a car that spent any kind of time on M.V. that wasnt rusty!......Bill S

A lot of money for that car is my opinion. That is not survivor paint, and will have to be kept in a garage and never washed. The paint will only get worst. This paint is beyond minor checking and buffing.

It's a restamped block. Hood, block, what else has been changed....

It appears to me if you read the Ebay add all these questions are addressed.

The ad claims "SURVIVOR QUALITY", but it's been repainted and is NOM and the quarters have been skinned.
Not a bad project, but the claims and the car don't exactly match.
