Sunflower Deuce by MASCAR (http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/ubbthreads.php/topics/624178/5)
Here is a real deal Yenko Deuce, no rebody issues. It is one of the last Batch of 50 cars, built by Hurst for Yenko Sports Cars, Inc. There were three new colors in the last order. Only 10 were produced in this color and only a fraction were automatics.
It is my understanding that less than 100 of the Deuce exist as found today.
It comes with the original rear, but not numbers matching engine or trans.
The car was set up as a fun race car to play @ SCR #19 by Ken Maisano /MASCAR. Engine, trans and rear were fresh built.
The build thread is posted above. Full exhaust and Drag Radials were added, buy very much like it left the trach @ SCR 19.
Price os $69,995.00 obo/trade.
Lots of time and $$$$$ have been invested. Can be enjoyed as is or taken to the next level.
Will be @ MCACN car for sale corral.

This is not a slapped together drivetrain and set up. This is a pro-built by a guy who set NHRA drag records. Street Strip Warrior. The parts and labor to build and set all this up could approach $50,000.00.
It has an "0010" 350ci Iron Block and heads,with a very street-able 11.0 to 1 comp, TH400 and 4.88 gears.
HYS-171 Sold new @ Marve Minneman Chevrolet in Youngstown, Ohio. Listed options automatic and power steering, has original Yenko Steering wheel too.

All this car needs to turn it into a very high level show car street killer, Hang some outer sheet metal and a nice sunflower yellow paint job, and this car can be just as nice as 90% of them at the shows. With no tuning or shakedown, she ran the best of a 10.72 et. It is not a wild race car. And could easily and reliably be ran on the streets. After racing it. The Deuce was my daily lunch time driver. it sure woke up my employees and customers when I took them out for lunch.

Stefano, I must say that first picture with the side view and the burnouts is one of the BEST shots I`ve of a Nova in YEARS. Just screams fast with the mild rake, bigs and littles.

Photo credit for that pic goes to the MASCAR team, as it was taken at their facility in Costa Mesa.
I like the action shot too.

The engine is a correct vintage "0010" block and features correct "186" Double hump heads. With a built TH400 and 9" style rear with 4.88 gears.
The engine could easily be dressed to look more correct. This is NOT a radical engine/drivetrain set up. It just works on 11.0 compression and the Iron heads.
The original bench seat comes with, as does the original front and rear sway bars and links as does the Original BW coded rear.
It also features an "Original" specific Yenko Deuce Steering wheel and original door panels with original Deuce graphics.
I also have original GM 1/4s which can be purchased as extras for a reasonable price. Will trade up or down. $69.995.00 obo
I got to say .... I miss this car ..... we just may have to buy it back from you Stefano and restore it for 2018 ...... day 2 style ..... it's an awesome car and a great buy as it's a true yenko and 1 of 5 yello <<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/smile.gif
Stefano

Will include the pair of GM 1/4s , outer wheel houses and tail panel for $69,995.00
Or including above will remove all added race parts, seats and cage, engine trans and 9" rear and make a roller with original rear, running 1970 350 engine, needing rebuilt, TH 400 trans case / core for $58,500.00

This really is a great car!
In reading the original build thread from the car it stated in the opening thread "we are pulling the #s drivetrain and will be replacing it with a Borg Warner T 10 and a 1970 350 4 Bolt service block" which always left me asking...does someone still have the original #'s block and transmission from it?
All I see now is the diff and I'm wondering what happened to the engine and trans that were originally in it?
If those are still intact I may have some serious interest in it.
Stefano
02-18-2017, 08:55 PM
The original engine and trans were not in the car, when Mike Miller was selling it and we do not know where those components are. The only original drivetrain component is the original CBW 4.10 coded rear.

NorCam, what u are seeing in that thread is the first car they were going to modify to race, and then thankfully decided against doing that and instead got this car.

That now makes sense, thanks. I confused the first car with this one and should have read more to notice the other car.
Still like the color of this one. Great car for someone and surprised it has not sold yet.

I know eh! And if this isn't enough...there's that 57 gasser I'd love to build also. Too many things to check off the bucket list, and the Yenko is one of them. Great project car, and one with a positive outcome on the other side once it's done.
